Barca make bid for Adeyemi, Dortmund ahead in the race as they offer better salary (reliability: 4 stars)

Barcelona have submitted an offer of €40m to FC Salzburg for Karim Adeyemi, Sky Sport report. They have also personally contacted the 19-year-old.

Nevertheless, Borussia Dortmund are said to be ahead in the race. The Bundesliga side have made a bid of €35m but their salary offer is bigger than Barca's.

According to previous reports, the Catalans view Adeyemi as a target for next summer since they want to sign a prolific goalscorer. This term so far, the German has scored 15 goals and provided two assists in 25 matches for Salzburg.
