Ansu Fati ‘won't return to action’ until 2022

Ansu Fati’s return for Barcelona has been postponed even further and the youngster won’t play any more games in 2021, as per Sport's Albert Roge.

The Spaniard won’t return to action until 2022, which could be a blow for Xavi’s side.

Barca are targeting the game against Mallorca on January 2nd as the match in which Fati makes his return from a hamstring injury.

The major reason why the club are postponing Ansu’s return is that they don’t want to take any risks and want him to return once he’s 100% fit.

Memphis Depay has also been ruled out for a month with an injury, meaning Barca could miss their biggest attacking stars for the remaining games in 2021.
