 will have the names of pop music icons like Shakira, The Weekend, Justin Bieber and many more icons next season, as per a clause in the Spotify agreement. 

, Barca would use their shirt to promote and pay tribute to music superstars linked to Spotify by having their shirts advertise different artists. 

This could be another business opportunity for the club, as they could promote upcoming albums and shows. 

It's similar to what Atletico Madrid did between 2003 and 2005 when they advertised movies such as Spiderman and Hell Boy on their shirts. 

OFFICIAL: Barca sign sponsorship agreement with Spotify, confirm new stadium name

 have officially confirmed that Spotify will become the team's new main sponsor for the next four seasons starting with the 2022/23 season.

"The platform’s company name will appear on the front of both Men’s and Women’s team shirt and training kits. For the first time, the global audio streaming platform becomes Title Partner of the Stadium, which will be rebranded as Spotify Camp Nou," the official announcement reads.

The agreement is subject to ratification by the assembly of club members on April 3.

As per previous reports, the Spotify deal will bring Barca €93.3m per season. 

'We think it's the best option for our shirt': Laporta provides update on Spotify deal 

"We are working on it. Everything is going quite well. We will announce it when the papers have been signed and it will have to be approved by the Assembly," Joan Laporta has told Mundo Deportivo in regards to the Spotify talks.

"We, the board of directors, think that this is the best option for

According to reports, the Spotify deal will bring Barca €93.3m per season. They will have their name on men's and women's shirts, the training shirts, and also hold the title rights to Camp Nou.
