Pedri explains why he 'owes Koeman a lot'

"I owe Ronald Koeman a lot because from the first moment, he trusted me. I’m really grateful to him. We had a good team but things didn’t work out and now there’s Xavi, who does an unbeatable job," Pedri said in a recent press conference.

As it was reported back in the day, Barcelona wanted to send Pedri on loan after his arrival from Las Palmas, but Koeman insisted on keeping the youngster. 17 years old at that time, Pedri became a regular starer at the club.

In total, Pedri played 56 games under Koeman, scoring four goals and six assists.
