While the board and the majority of Culers keep dreaming about big signings, there is still a group of people who would like Barca to take it easy and focus on what they have.
One of them is Frank Zanche who truly believes in the current squad's ability.
"We beat Madrid 4-0 at the Bernabeu with the existing attackers. We have good midfielders, there's that Kessie guy from Milan, there's De Jong, Busi, Gavi, Pedri. We only need a left-back to cover for Alba.
"We must understand that the club doesn't have the money and manage what we have. Few key players have started taking another pay cuts, so let's stop all this fuss and focus on the players at hand, they are extraordinary.
"We don't need Azpilicueta, he's old. There's talented Dest, Araujo who handled Vinicius Jr particularly well exactly on the right side.
"Barcelona have a 1 billion debt but still going for more, plunging the team into more difficulties. We still haven't paid Man City for Ferran Torres, by the way.
"Let's forget about buying new players for now and use what we have. After all the issues, we still finished second. We can compete for the Champions League and La Liga, raising money in the process," he concludes.
Indeed, Barcelona could just build on what Xavi has already built here; but is it really enough for us to fight for all the trophies?
