Memphis will only leave the club if 'a big offer' comes. The player himself is said to be 'ready for the first-team competition' even if 

 are interested in the 28-year-old but their interest is not advanced.

The forward scored 13 goals and provided 2 assists for the Catalans this season.

Memphis doesn't want to leave Barca, hopes to receive an extension offer (reliability: 5 stars)

According to Mundo Deportivo's Gabriel Sans, 

 this summer. What's more, he hopes to receive an extension offer from the club.

The Dutchman's current contract runs until 2023. Barca, on their part, don't want to start the season with Memphis's future undecided. They would risk losing him for free next summer.

Depay joined us as a free agent in 2021. This season, the 28-year-old recorded 13 goals and two assists in 38 matches (27 starts).

In his latest interview with Dutch media outlet NOS, 

 hinted at the reasons why he mustn't be sold by 

Firstly, Memphis said: "I ended the season at Barça as the topscorer of the club despite all my injuries. Of course, I hoped for more

Secondly, the striker adds: “I feel at home at Barcelona, after one season already."

Memphis has been linked with a move away from Barca, with Premier League clubs like Spurs and Arsenal being linked with his signature. 

However, it seems like the 28-year-old will not be offloaded this summer. 

Memphis scored 13 goals and two assists last term. Aubameyang also scored 13 goals for Barca in the same campaign.

Well Memphis is actually a leftwinger not a center forward. Sure he can play in all forward possition but is at his best when he play as leftwinger. I agree that its the right thing to extend his contract now.

I think this is great, he’s a player who can play in 2 or 3 attacking roles very well. He’s good in front of goal but he needs to improve in getting into the right positions to score more often which he can still improve on🔴🔵
