Paulo Dybala was said to be really close to joining 

 as a free agent before the contract talks stalled.

Earlier this summer, it was reported that the Argentine would love to join Barca. However, the Catalans weren't too interested in him at the time.

In fact, Blaugrana were heavily linked with the attacking midfielder in 2017 but the move didn't materialise.

The 28-year-old could play as a second striker or a centre-forward. 15 goals and 6 assists in 30+ apps for Juventus last season.

However, the offer was immediately turned down by Jordi Cryuff and 

Dybala's style was considered unfit for Barca. Plus his salary demands were considered too high for a club still struggling to balance the books financially. 

The 28-year-old is now set to sign for Inter Milan as a free agent later this summer. 

Last season, Dybala scored 15 goals and claimed six assists for Juventus but the Bianconeri let him go for refusing to lower his wages.

Please Dybala is not a midfielder, Dybala always wants the team to be built around him before he will Flourish he is the same as Messi where Barca were building around Messi there is no way Dybala can succeed in Barcelona please check about the profile of the player before you ask Barca the go and sign him, we don’t need him here

I suggest we go for him instead of Bernado Silva who will cost us 90m. we need to save some money from the economic levers. Dybala and B. Silva are similar players

Please his injuries is too much and also Dybala will flourish when the team is build around him if not you won’t get the best out of him and am not sure xavi is ready to build the team around him 🙏

Your wrong about the team built around him. The team was not built around him at all during his years in Juventus. Only thing that could ve a problem is his injuries. But if you look at injuries Dembele should leave now since hes been injured more than Dybala.
Seems some of you always look for negative things instead of positive things like Barca gets another dimension in attack, another experienced scorer and a player thats always a threat in attack.

No it wasnt. Juventus build their teams around the midfielders not the forwards. Dybala is a forward. A good friend of mine is a huge Juventus fan and been for decades. Juventus never built their teams around forwards for as long as hes been a Juventus fan.

Coutinho and Dybala are nothing alike.
First Coutinho is a left midfielder Dybala a center forward.
Second Dybala is way better scorer than Coutinho ever was.
Coutinho is a really good freekick taker Dybala is not.
Dont even compare Dybala with Coutinho because they are two different kind if players.

Most versatile player there is , if we were linked to Di Maria once we should surely consider Dybala .
