The Uruguayan struggled to score in each of his first 7 league matches for Blaugrana, only finding the net once against APOEL in the Champions League within that time frame.
He bagged 16 goals in the next 20 league games afterwards. The same season, he massively contributed to his side's treble win.
Two things should be remembered though. Firstly, he was 27 and Lewandowski is 33; secondly, he had been serving the FIFA suspension for several months before finally making his Barcelona debut in October 2014 – this could surely harm his confidence a bit.
Anyway, we believe Lewandowski will quickly find his groove and establish himself as a predatory goalscorer at Barca.
