Marca says Barcelona are in advanced talks to allow the midfielder to move to the United States on a three-year deal. Barcelona will hold a percentage of future sales of the player.
The deal is now in its advanced stages and all that remains is an official announcement from either Barcelona or the MLS club.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Puig's departure to LA Galaxy is a done deal.
Puig made his senior debut for Barcelona in April 2019 under Ernesto Valverde aged just 19.
The Spaniard was handed Xavi's iconic no. 6 jersey and proceeded to play 56 games for Barca scoring two goals and three assists.
Unfortunately, the player failed to match the high expectations placed on his shoulders and saw his game time vanish under Xavi and his predecessor Koeman.
