Pique offered to play for Barca for FREE - club stance revealed

Gerard Pique offered to play for Barcelona for free, according to Diario AS.

Barcelona refused the player's offer and asked him to accept a pay cut instead. This is the third salary slash Pique is taking at Barca in two years.

Pique's gesture is even more commendable when you consider the fact that he may not play regularly this season after signing Jules Kounde and Andreas Christensen.

The 35-year-old is the oldest player in the Barca squad right now, and a former teammate of the current manager.
