How can you replace Alba with Alonso? Balde is too young to fully rely on him at the left back position. His defending is very bad though he has good attacking qualities. We need Alba especially because of UCL. If we really want to win trophies this season then the veterans(Busi, Pique and Alba) need to stay. Only people with little understanding of football complained about the veterans because they’re actually the ones who saved us from the mess we were in last season. Alonso can’t be the replacement of Alba because even at Chelsea he is not reliable.

I was Never complaining about The veterans I have always Been on The miniority who defend them. Alba and Busquets are some of our most important players and Pique still has a big role to play. Thats what I have Been saying. also Alonso is only a year younger than Alba so not Much difference.

The issue of alba is not new to me, I have been expecting it. Barcelona are in rebuilding phase so this is ment to happen. Secondly if you take a closer look at football in this era football is now revolving around coach tactics and pattern than before, a coach will choose to sign a player that he believes he will suit the type of tactics pattern he plays so I trust xavi on his decision. And also don't forget jodi is one of the highest earners in Barcelona and they are finding all means to reduce their wage bill. We also have a youngster ( balde ) playing his position very well as of the first three games of the season, I know it's too early but let us have believe in him which I believe he won't disappoint. If alba decided to go or decided to fight for his spot I trust him and wish him best of luck.
