Cadiz goalkeeper delivers emergency kit to medics as fan loses consciousness during Barca match

Football is more than a game - the bond between the fans and the players is undeniable and it works both ways.

The game between Cadiz and Barcelona had to be interrupted after a fan suffered a medical emergency in the stands.

The players were visibly distraught, but they didn't just stand by. Cadiz's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma helped by delivering what looked like a first aid kit from one medical team to another.

As per various reports, one old lady in the stands lost consciousness during the match, a suspected heart attack.

At the moment of writing, the game is still paused, with the players ordered to go into the dressing room by the referee.
