According to Diario Sport, Jules Kounde's recovery is "on the right track", and the centre-back could make it in time for the clash against Real Madrid on October 16.
The 23-year-old did a part of the session on Thursday with the rest of the group, which is a positive sign.
However, the Frenchman risks a relapse if Barcelona's staff pushes him too soon. The Catalans would prefer to give him some minutes before the Clasico to test the waters.
The problem, though, is that the match before Madrid is an essential clash against Inter Milan. That match might prove too intense for a freshly-recovered player.
Kounde suffered a femoral biceps injury while on international duty. He is scheduled to miss several weeks.
