Barcelona significantly revamped their squad this summer, with multiple players arriving and even more leaving the club.
One thing that brilliantly illustrates this is Barca's starting lineup the previous time we faced Mallorca away. Back then, the Catalans were going through an injury and Covid-19 crisis, with many players unavailable.
Here's what the lineup looked like.
Barcelona XI: Ter Stegen; Mingueza, Pique, Garcia, Araujo; F. de Jong, Nico, Puig; Akhomach, L. de Jong, Jutgla.
Now, Oscar Mingueza, Nico Gonzalez, Riqui Puig, Luuk de Jong, and Ferran Jutgla are all gone. Gerard Pique is no longer a starter while Ilias Akhomach is at Barca Atletic since Xavi has better options in attack.
It remains to be seen what Barca's lineup will be tonight. But even with the current injuries, it will definitely look better on paper.
