 so that he stays fit ahead of the 2022 World Cup. The 39-year-old hopes to be called up for the tournament.

Barca players celebrate Dani Alves greatness with touching act

 and he got to do so during the Joan Gamper Trophy.

The president first handed Dani some special gifts before the game, with over 83,000 fans in attendance at Camp Nou. After the final whistle, Sergio Busquets invited the legend to lift the trophy together with him.

The Barca players also showed their appreciation for the 39-year-old as they lifted him into the air. Here's what it looked like.

It's not every player that gets to be celebrated like this. But just like the fans, the Barca players realize that Dani is a true club legend and a culer at heart.
