AS Roma are working seriously to sign Memphis Depay during the January transfer window, per Sport.
While the Italian outfit are looking to sign Depay on a free transfer, Barcelona insists on getting €2m for the player if they're to let him go before his contract ends in six months.
Depay may not play for Barcelona again this year given his involvement at the World Cup with the Netherlands.
The transfer window will open less than two weeks after the tournament and Depay one of the players expected to leave Barca.
This season, Depay has barely featured for the Blaugrana. The 28-year-old has only played three games with injury contributing to his long absence. In contrast, he's played more games for Holland at the World Cup than he has for Barca this term, making four appearances and scoring once.
