Thomas Tuchel is only interested in coaching Barcelona or Real Madrid, according to Sky Sports.
The German tactician has set his bar pretty high in terms of the next club he wants to manage - teams like Tottenham and Newcastle are not even being considered.
Barcelona have put blind faith in Xavi regardless of their early exit from the Champions League this season and their patience seems to be paying off recently. The former midfielder led the Blaugrana to the Spanish Supercopa, beating Real Madrid in the final. Barca are also on a five-game winning streak in 2023.
However, Tuchel who is said to be a fan of Pep Guardiola's style of management and Barca's La Masia is a lot more experienced than Xavi. The 49-year-old won the Champions League six months after taking charge of Chelsea in 2021 and the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Unfortunately, the new Chelsea owners did not consider him a long-term option for their project and fired him last September with the season barely one-month old.
