"Whoever attacks Barcelona's honour will have to answer in front of the judges. Now, everyone is against us. Many individuals and institutions will have exposed themselves," Mundo Deportivo quote Joan Laporta saying.
"The attacks will fail, I feel that we will come out stronger and we will be the reference for millions of people."
Laporta has claimed that the fuss around the 'Negreira case' is a deliberate campaign to smear Barca's image. For the record, the court has been unable to find evidence of any wrongdoing on the club's side.
Meanwhile, many speculated that Barca would be stripped of titles or even released, with La Liga president Javier Tebas among them. The apparent reason behind this campaign is Barca's opposition to the CVC deal and the involvement in the European Super League project.
