N'Golo Kante offered to Barca following Busquets exit (reliability 5 stars)

According to Gerard Romero's Jijantes FC, N'Golo Kante's representatives have offered the player to Barcelona following Sergio Busquets departure.

Barcelona are still considering their options for that defensive midfield position, but close sources to the club say Xavi's first choice is Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi.

However, while Zubimendi or Bayern's Joshua Kimmich would cost Barca around €60m or even more, Kante will arrive as a free agent as his contract runs out in June.

The tireless Chelsea midfielder has been negotiating a new deal with the Blues for months without a positive outcome.

There's a catch with Kante though. He's 32 and has become injury prone over the past year. In fact, he spent 8 months of this season sidelined with a hamstring injury.
