"I have several offers that I will analyze with my family. My next chapter will be away from Europe, I can guarantee that. With my age, and the career I’ve had at Barca, I think it’s not needed and I’m not sure I could compete against them in any important match or trophy," he told Radio Catalunya, as per Sport.
One of the offers in question is the proposition to join Al Hilal. Both Busquets and another ex-Blaugrana, Lionel Messi, have been linked with a move to Middle East for a while.
Speaking to the media, the midfielder has opened up on the potential reunion with the Argentine.
"I would like to play with Leo but it doesn't work like that. I would also like to play with Andres [Iniesta] and Jordi [Alba], but we're not a pack. We make decisions like this separately."
