Laporta claims Tebas wants to stay as La Liga boss for 15 years, tried to force Barca to sign CVC deal

"CVC deal? One of the conditions was that Tebas would stay [as La Liga boss], first for 15 years and then for 8," Barcelona president Joan Laporta told CAT Radio.

"His salary is double than that of bank presidents. We were told that if we did this operation he would give us Financial Fair Play, 15%.

"He [Tebas] told us that if we didn't sign the deal, we wouldn't be able to sign players and that they would make it more difficult for us."

Laporta went on declare his defiance of Tebas and the likes who intend to drag Barca into more debt and financial ruin.

"To the gentleman of La Liga, those of CVC and other established powers, they should know that they will have us defending the interests of Barça until the last drop of our blood. We do this because we love Barca," Laporta said.
