Deco contacts Chelsea over potential Busquets' successor, Xavi gives go-ahead (reliability: 4 stars)

Barcelona are in talks with Chelsea to sign Andrey Santos, reports Lucas Pedrosa.

Deco is an admirer of the 19-year-old midfielder.

Xavi has given the go-ahead to go for the young talent. He believes Andrey could succeed Sergio Busquets in the long term.

Chelsea signed Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama in January. The Brazilian was loaned back to the boyhood club afterwards.

The midfielder made 49 appearances for Vasco da Gama's first team, scoring 9 goals and picking up 12 yellow cards.
