It is said that Xavi tried everything to convince Dembele to stay and even provided him with the example of

Joan Cyruff once said "Any player who has a second thought about this great club is not fit to put on the jersey... Dembele has toy with us starting from Bartolomeo era. He was asked severally to sign but he ignored till he ran out his contract. We lost total hope in him as fans and the board but Xavi believed so much in him. He is just an actor who truly plans his move from the start. 
When I read that he signed 2 years contract, I looked and smile because something told me there's something fishy about his behaviours... Anyways I want to read Dembele has signed for PSG so that we can plan greatly after him and I assured you, we will come stronger after you take your leave

i do understand those players who chooses money above passion.
It's about money must be made. we all works to make money and create wealth.
But my concern is: FC Barcelona shouldn't convince any player to stay put.
No player should be bigger than the Club.
Countless of Talented players came and leave, yet the club still remains with his prestige.

It will definitely be a mess, if the coaching crew tried to convince Dembele to stay against his wish.
The coaching crew should have known that, they were the one who convinced him to stay put last season, that was why the contract signed was just two years. why not 4 or 5 years contract ?.
I hope FC Barcelona will learn from PSG and Mbampe's saga.
