Barca could replace Dembele with Ghanaian sensation wanted by Chelsea (reliability: 4 stars)

Barcelona could sign Mohammed Kudus in the final days of the summer transfer window, reports Diario Sport's David Bernabeu.

It is difficult for Barca and Ajax to reach an agreement at the moment. The Catalans offered the Eredivisie side a deferred payment and a loan with a buyout option. However, Ajax have slapped a €40m+ price tag on the attacker.

If Barca don't sign Kudus this month, they will possibly try to do it in the next transfer campaigns – unless he joins a different big club in the coming days.

The 23-year-old has been linked with Chelsea, Brighton and West Ham lately.

Kudus is an explosive right winger who can also play as a centre-forward or an attacking midfielder. Last season, he scored 19 goals and provided 8 assists for Ajax across all competitions.
