Ferran Torres 'shut up' celebration in Cadiz win explained — it wasn't aimed at fans

Ferran Torres scored in the 91st minute to secure Barcelona a 2-0 win in their clash against Cadiz on Sunday.

After grabbing the goal the forward wheeled away in celebration and performed the 'shut up' gesture that seemed directed at critical fans.

But according to DAZN, Ferran's celebration was not directed at fans. Instead, it was aimed at a friend in the stand who had made a bet with him.

Ferran has often been criticized for his finishing but the Spaniard has taken it in his chin after hiring a psychologist earlier this year to help deal with the pressures of playing for Barca.

So far Ferran has scored two goals in as many games for Barca, dating back to preseason.
