Barcelona confirmed today that Pedri has picked up a hamstring injury on his right foot and will miss out on upcoming games.
According to the reliable Helena Condis, a top source close to the team has confirmed that Pedri will be out for more than six weeks!
The earliest Pedri can return to action is in a month and a half, which would be closer to late September or early October.
Thus, Pedri will miss games against Villarreal (this Sunday), Osasuna (3rd September), Betis (17th September), Celta (24th September) and probably Mallorca on 27th September.
Barca can hope to have their talismanic midfielder back before they face Sevilla on 1st October.
Xavi is already sweating with the absence of club co-captain Ronald Araujo. However, the Uruguayan is expected to return after the international break in September.
