During preseason, Barcelona unleashed another gem from their La Masia Academy, his name — Fermin Lopez. The young midfielder announced himself by scoring a clutch goal against Real Madrid of all clubs.
However, it seems like the world has not been alerted to Fermin's immense potential considering the youngster is only valued at €300k, according to Transfermarkt.
The 20-year-old is yet to start an official game for Barcelona and is yet to be involved at senior level in the national team which explains his low market value.
In the coming weeks, Fermin is expected to play a more important role at Barca given the injury Raphnha and Frenkie De Jong. It's also clear that Xavi rates him above Sergi Roberto in midfield.
Barcelona have Fermin on a contract that runs until the summer of 2027. Thus, regardless of his low price tag, it's highly unlikely they will consider selling another gem from their famous La Masia.
