According to Diario AS, Barcelona became seriously worried after taking one look at Gavi's face in the aftermath of Spain's 3-1 win against Cyprus.
Barca strongly believes that Gavi is really tired after playing 90 minutes in his last seven matches for club and country.

At his age, Gavi has already played 111 games for Barca and 25 for Spain. Neither Xavi, Iniesta nor Sergio Busquets played that many games for club and country at that age.
