Lionel Messi will play against Cristiano Ronaldo in one final game before both legendary players hang their boots, it has been confirmed.
The multi-million-dollar game will be between Inter Miami and Al Nassr in the Riyadh Season Cup scheduled for February 2024.
The game was confirmed by Turki Al-Sheikh president of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia who labelled it "the last dance of football greatness!"
The last time Cristiano and Leo met on the pitch was in a friendly between PSG and Al Nassr. The Parisians won 5-4 on the day.
The rivalry between both players is now at an end with Messi finishing his career with eight Ballon d'Ors and a World Cup trophy. Ronaldo deserves his respect though, having won five Ballon d'Ors and as many Champions Leagues.
