Athletico Paranaense fan and Reddit user Haalandderstrong has told Barca fans what they should expect from Vitor Roque who's going to arrive in January.
Two strengths, one weakness. Here they are.
"First thing I want to talk about is his positioning and finishing. He gets into great positions all the time and his finishing is considered consistent. I am sure when the chances come, he will bury most of them.
"Secondly, his physicality is superb. Like [Luis] Suarez, he is a very strong player who can bully defenders, but perhaps not as much. His explosive acceleration certainly helps a bit, but don't expect him to be a rocket player with a super high top speed.
"Onto weakness, his dribbling can still be improved. Don't get me wrong, he twists and turns with composure and can often evade tackles, but he lacks the ability to cleanly beat defenders one on one. His passing can also be worked on, but I guess it's a less important attribute for a centre-forward / striker.
"All in all, I'd describe him as an energetic and dangerous striker, with the potential to become one of history's greats. I sincerely wish him every success at Barca."
With all due respect to Robert Lewandowski, it's great that we're going to get a dynamic, energetic striker already next month. We need different profiles on our team, especially since there will be more competitions to play in starting from January.
The Brazilian is expected to arrive in Barcelona at the end of December. If La Liga give the green light for his registration, he will be able to make his first-team debut already on January 4.
Barcelona signed the 18-year-old striker for €40m last summer. He's got 21 goals and 8 assists in 44 appearances this season.
