Jules Kounde spent some time in Benin during the winter break!

The Frenchman visited his father's homeland. Among others, the player had a warm reunion with his grandmother, gifting her his Barca jersey.

Kounde's second citizenship is Beninese. However, he was part of French football academies since an early age.

Before travelling to Benin, the 25-year-old was in Senegal where he attended a football academy which has a partnership with Barca.
