Xavi's latest claim proves it may be costly to have football legend as head coach

Following Barcelona's 2-1 win against Las Palmas, Xavi admitted he asked his players to clip the ball in behind the opposition defence during the game.

The problem is, Barca struggled to do it.

"That's what I was good at as a player," Xavi told the media.

This could be one of the problems of today's Barca squad. No matter how good it is, the players won't turn into prime Xavis all of a sudden. Xavi, however, wants them to play the way he used to do when he was a successful player.

Maybe that's also one of the reasons why some Blaugrana players can't understand his instructions at all – they've never really been at his level of understanding the game.
