'I've talked to him': Xavi reveals if Pedri is ready to start in Clasico

"Pedri is fine. The idea was for him to play for around 25 or 30 minutes today [against Osasuna]. The feelings were very good which is phenomenal ahead of Sunday's game [against Real Madrid]," Xavi has told the media.

"I've talked to him. He's ready, yes," he added.

Against Real Madrid, Xavi could field the midfield trio of Ilkay Gundogan, Frenkie de Jong and Pedri, also starting Joao Felix on the left wing. The other option would be to start four midfielders with Sergi Roberto who usually fares well in Clasicos.

Anyway, the good thing is that Barca would be able to dominate the midfield thanks to Pedri's availability.
