Laporta unveils Barca's pre-season destination as club signs new €40m deal

Barcelona have signed a new contract with racing car manufacturer Cupra. According to Sport, the new deal is worth €40m and will run until the summer of 2029.

While confirming the news, Barca president Joan Laporta also revealed that the club will travel to the United States for pre-season in June, just as they did last summer.

"We are very happy to extend our agreement with Cupra until 2029 and expand it to all professional sports of FC Barcelona," Laporta said.

Barcelona will display Cupra logos on their sleeves in their next three pre-season appearances as agreed in the contract.

The Blaugrana will have a new manager in place before this year's pre-season as Xavi has announced he will step down immediately after the season is over.
