Luis Enrique is proving that Ousmane Dembele is more than just a two-footed winger. The former Barcelona coach is doing this by playing the French attacker in a midfield position.
On Tuesday, Dembele was in Spain to play football for the first time since leaving Barca as PSG squared up against Real Sociedad in the Champions League round of 16.
Dembele started the game on the right-wing, but he was given the freedom to invert into midfield and he did this ever so effectively. He even dropped into defensive positions to help the defence play out of the back.
Dembele never played in midfield during his four and half years at Barca. Perhaps he could've excelled in this role as he's currently doing at PSG.
What's more, Dembele seems to have put his injury woes behind him. Since joining PSG the 26-year-old is yet to miss a game through injury. He has 11 assists and a goal in 30 appearances this term.
