"Do I want to coach Barca? The answer would be yes, but it is something still very far away," Andres Iniesta told Corriere Dello Sport.
"I'm still playing and I don't even have a [coaching] license. I will get it, in addition to the sports director's [licence], then we'll see.”
Iniesta may one day coach Barca but certainly not in 2024. The Barca legend is still playing active football in the United Arab Emirates despite reaching the age of 39. He's scored two goals and made one assist in his 12 appearances this season.
Iniesta is another Barca legend who still supports the club from a distance and hopes to return to work at Barca in some capacity.
The midfielder played 674 games for Barca scoring 57 goals and assisting another 136.
