Pau Cubarsi gets Spain national team call-up at 17, one more Barca teenager joins him

Pau Cubarsi has been named in Spain's national team squad for the first time. The defender achieves this at the tender age of 17.

Cubarsi makes the squad alongside Lamine Yamal who's already made four appearances for Spain aged 16.

Some Barca players who are a regular fixture in the Spain squad have missed out due to injury. They include Pedri, Gavi, Ferran Torres and Alejandro Balde.

Cubarsi is now in line to make his debut for his country in their upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Brazil.

Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Jesus Navas, Pedro Porro, Aymeric Laporte, Le Normand, Dani Vivian, Pau Cubarsí, Jose Gaya, Alex Grimaldo.
