PSG suffer first injury days before Barca clash

 have suffered their first injury just days before they face Barcelona in their 

Barcola was just beginning to find his feet at PSG after starting their last three league games and impressing Luis Enrique. His tally this season stands at three goals and six assists in 33 games. 

According to journalist Alfredo Martinez, Barcola is likely to miss the game against Barcelona with the injury. 

French sources say Barcola injured his hamstring while playing the France under-21 against the Ivory Coast. 

 are expecting to have Frenkie De Jong back from injury for the game against PSG. Ferran Torres is also expected back for that game.

An in-depth analysis on Lopez.

One thing that I've noticed is that the absence of Pedri and FDJ has brought pace and dynamics to the Barca attack and Fermin is to be credited for that. The boy isn't lazy,  can runs for 90mins.

Against Napoli he perfectly timed the run into the box for a goal. Against ATM he was again on the scoresheet after making a perfectly timed run into the box which he headed past Oblak, something Pedri and FDJ struggle to master. Unlike the two, Lopez isn't afraid to take shots and make long passes. 

Let's not hype him but notice how De Bruyne plays.

KDB isn't too complicated of a midfielder nor is he much of a dribbler, but he knows how to shoot the ball or  make the perfect pass to the most well positioned player. Basic football but it makes him the best midfielder in the world. Those two aspects are Lopez's strength and if nurtured well, we might have a midfielder for the future.

However, there is a lot of room for improvement on Fermin:

1. Space recognition in advanced areas.

Against ATM he was used as an Attacking midfielder behind Lewandowski, it was hard to pick him up between the pockets. He didn't have a god start to the game and there was no connection.

2. Holding onto the ball. 

I've mentioned before his difference from FDJ and Pedri but it doesn't mean it's everytime you need to pass the ball quickly. Quick passes sound nicer for tiki taka enthusiasts but sometimes there are moments  you should hold on to the ball for a bit longer, wait for spaces to open so you create a big chance instead of making quick obvious passes. FDJ and Gundogan are good examples. 

A Barca midfielder should also have close control of the ball. Pedri is the perfect example. 
  
3. Confidence

His body language after making a pass shows that he's not confident enough. Maybe Xavi can help him to demand the ball more from his teammates.

I feel like Fermin and Lewandowski can form a d€@dly duo upfront. When Lewandowski is man marked he can drop deeper the way he's been doing lately or make those runs to the wing which lure defenders towards him and open spaces at the centre for Lopez to attack. With his desire for goal, surely something will happen.

Fermin Lopez actually deserves to play some games ahead both FDJ and Pedri. He has earned the right to and might have a brighter future than those two if the coach can get best out of him.

Let's not hype the kid though. He's still growing but the potential is evident. Neither is he better than Pedri or De Jong!

can we stop comparing him to dejong or saying he is better,dejong will always play ahead of him,have we ever consider that they are both midfielder but different role in the midfield,may be he can compare to pedri but still pedri will still play ahead if he is fit,but still I love fermin,so let him Breath,the coach knws what they are doing
