Atletico Madrid will be looking to offload Joao Felix for 60 million euros in the summer, Mundo Deportivo claims. It's less than was initially claimed, as the reports from 2023 suggested that signing the winger would cost at least 80 million.
Yet, it is more than what Barcelona could afford spending at the moment - the Catalans are still pretty much not over the financial struggles. Moreover, they were hoping to keep Felix on yet another loan deal for the next season.
Los Colchoneros are not very enthusiastic about this idea since Diego Simeone wants Felix's future sorted out before their summer pre-season tour starts in July.
The winger's agent and Laporta's close friend Jorge Mendes is well aware of the situation and is reportedly already working to find a solution. But if things don't pan out, Felix could find himself heading to another destination – neither Barca nor Atleti.
In that case, Barca will need to look for a new left winger elsewhere.
