“We’re receiving crazy bids for players like Lamine Yamal around €200m and we’re rejecting, of course,” Barcelona president Joan Laporta told Mundo Deportivo.
“We trust Lamine and we don’t need to sell,” the president added.
However, Lamine is not the only player attracting interest at Barca, according to Laporta.
“We received bids for Balde, Fermín, Pedri, De Jong, Araujo and Gavi. We don’t want to sell our stars,” Laporta said.
It's likely that Barca received the crazy offer for Lamine from PSG, as reports revealed earlier. Yamal's value has continued to skyrocket since he made his debut for Barca last season.
As for the other players, Barca may yet be forced to sell a big player to balance their books in the summer. Laporta's words can't be trusted 100 per cent as he's defaulted before, like in the case of Leo Messi who he promised would not leave only for a dramatic U-turn to happen in 2021.
