First vid emerges as Dani Alves officially released from prison

Dani Alves has been provisionally released from prison.

Here is the fresh video of the Brazilian leaving the establishment with his lawyer, Ines Guardiola.

Dozens of protesters came up to voice their opinion on the matter. "Nuria [the alleged victim of rape] was murdered," some messages read.

The 40-year-old has been released on a €1m bail that was paid earlier on Monday – it was apparently done by Neymar's father. He will now await the final sentence.

Dani Alves was initially sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for an alleged sexual assault that took place at a night club of Barcelona on December 31, 2022. His two passports, Spanish and Brazilian, have been withdrawn while he also has to appear weekly in court.
