Raphinha has scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 28 appearances for Barcelona this season. Overall, he's got 37 goal contributions in 78 games for Blaugrana. His decent figures don't quite match his performances, however, which are often mediocre.

Barca signed the Brazilian from Leeds United for €58m in the summer of 2022.

My BIGGEST problem is BARCELONA is used the having the best Brazilian AT LEAST in our squad. This fake Brazilian doesn’t even possess fundamentals of football skills. NO SAUCE

I wouldn't say he's a "Fake Brazilian" but I do see your point in saying he lacks the typical Brazilian flair. Raphinha is not a bad player, but he's certainly not a world class player, and imo not starting material. If he was slightly more humble he's not a bad squad rotation player (the role he should've played back when we had Dembele), but he has a lot of areas that could use improvement and he's already in his peak years.

It’s not just about flair for me. If someone make a long diagonal pass aerial to him 9 out of 10 times the ball would bounce off his body and he’ll loose possession, his decision making is awful because his footballing IQ ISNT high enough for Barcelona. Like Dembele he doesn’t have a football brain, Dembele is more talented but still no brain. 
I don’t say you’re a good or great player because you wear a Barcelona shirt, I have standards and my standards apply at all. This is Barcelona for God’s sake.

I would say that analysis is a bit harsh. Last season he managed 10 goals, 12 assists & this season he's at 5 goals & 10 assists with plenty of games left to beef up those numbers.

Statistically, Raphinha outperforms Dembele. His decision making could use some work, but is by no means awful. He struggles with consistency, but that seems to be a common problem in the Barcelona squad all together, so it's a bit unfair to single out Raphinha. Like I said before, he doesn't have that typical Brazilian flair and Ball control that people expect from most Brazilian forwards, and that's why most fans criticize him. He's not a world class, star player, however, he would be a decent squad player with a better attitude.

lol there we go with stats. Stats don’t make you a good footballer or bad footballer. If we can have an open conversation without including stats and just pure football then you’ll truly realize this guy doesn’t belong in our squad. This stats thing is new era of football and is misleading. 

THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY no stats for Ronaldinho, Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi, Etc to show their worth and quality. The eye test would remain undefeated. I’m not only on Raphina, Ferran, Roberto and Romeu can also get the hell out of my club ASAP. My wish is the get 2 wingers and a DM and we’ll cook with an experienced winning coach.

What are you talking about? There are plenty of stats to measure each and every one of those players that you mentioned. Xavi and Iniesta were very much praised for their stats on chances crated per 90 min, pass accuracy, touches per game, so on and so forth. Busquets was judged on recoveries per 90 min, pass accuracy, so on and so forth. And like most forwards, Ronaldinho was judged on goal contributions. 

In terms of pure football, you're singling out a very special generation of footballers who not only had excellent ball control, but also had chemistry to the point where they could read a game 3-4 passes in advance. If you're expecting to recreate that once in a lifetime generation, keep dreaming, because you won't get to see that anytime soon.

We have a very promising young generation of players in Cubarsi, Fort, Balde, Pedri, Gavi, Fermin, Guiu, and Yamal, but these players still need support. Raphinha, Ferran, Roberto, and Romeu are squad players that play their role when needed. Ferran, despite injuries, is 5th on the list for most goal contributions this season. Roberto has on several occasions pulled of performances that have won us games. Romeu is suffering from a huge slump, but his 1st 3-4 months at the club people could not stop singing his praises. Raphinha has also had performances where he has been the difference maker in games.

That in mind, I'm not saying that these players should be untouchable and not be sold, but rather, that they deserve a little respect for what they've achieved at the club. As for Xavi, I think that Barca fans need to show a little bit of gratitude for what he has achieved with the team he was given. Xavi took a broken, mid-table Barca and won the Super Copa and league in his 1st full season in charge as manager. This season he's trying his damnest to compete with a squad that truly only invested 3.4 mil (+40 mil in the winter for Roque), with a Real Madrid team that is in fantastic form and was able to reinforce themselves with 100mil Bellingham and 20 mil Gueller and has the financial means to bring Mbappe next season.

I’m not  judging or assessing Raphina based on our best era of football, that’s unfair to him or anyone else. I’m assessing him as a starter for Barcelona and putting him against other Brazilians that are out there. Now this batch of Brazilians out here are woeful, majority of them and that’s why their football has been struggling for a while now mainly. Raphina is one of those who belongs to the “fake 🇧🇷 “ along with Martinelli, Antony, Richarlison etc. 

Ferran, Roberto and Romeu are not good enough in my opinion. I’m not asking for everyone to be world class level that’s impossible but surely better than those 3 mentioned. 

Stats wasn’t shown to show their greatness THATS what I’m saying. We’ve watched greatness for decades without using stats to define players.

My biggest complaint about Raphinha is his childish attitude. They way he reacts when he's subbed off is just extremely unprofessional. That being said, I don't think he's a bad player, but he's also not world class. I'd absolutely cash in on a big money offer.

respect is earned bro...you jst have to be consistent in playing for Barcelona.
