Everyone expects Pedri to be back in the squad for the game against PSG next week, but the midfielder is not in a hurry to announce his comeback just yet.
"There’s no specific date for my return, but for now everything is going very well," Pedri told reporters.
"I hope to return very soon. I’m mentally very good, actually. The recovery is going very well and I’m just thinking about coming back and enjoying it.
“I trained, the team had a day off, but I can't miss a day,” Pedri added.
Pedri is recovering from his third hamstring injury this season. The consistent injuries have forced the Spaniard to miss 18 games this term.
It remains to be seen if Pedri will indeed make the PSG game or if Barca will decide not to take any risks. After all, Barca's midfield is blessed with adequate replacements like Fermin Lopez, Gundogan, Sergi Roberto and Raphinha if need be.
