Joao Cancelo wants to stay at Barcelona, talks with Man City planned

According to Relevo, Barcelona are planning talks with Man City over the future of Joao Cancelo.

It's claimed that 'a good time' to talk to City will be from mid-April onwards.

Cancelo's preference is to stay at Barca, especially after he burned the bridges with Man City despite still being contracted to them.

At the same time, Barcelona may struggle to meet City's asking price which has reportedly increased to between €40 and €50m.

The Catalans are rumoured to prefer another loan for the 29-year-old, but that may be against Man City's wishes as they want to cash in on the full-back.
