Xavi: 'My decision to leave will NOT change'

"My decision to leave the club at the end of the season will not change," Xavi has told the media.

"The decision I made is the right one, it has given a peaceful mind to the club, the players, even the press but also for me and for the environment... but I'm not changing my mind," the Barca boss also said.

A few minutes later, journalist Javier Miguel also wrote the following: "Xavi's decision is 99.99 per cent, no matter what happens and what is promised to him. Laporta is going to have a very difficult time trying to convince him."

Earlier, it was reported that Barcelona were optimistic about their chances of persuading Xavi to stay. It is said that the Barca boss might still change his decision after El Clasico on April 21.
