‘He felt really comfortable’: Xavi explains how Barca got the best out of Joao Felix v Cadiz

“Joao [Felix] has a lot of talent. He feels really comfortable, he played a great game and scored a great goal. We gave him the freedom and let him play between the lines and exploit all his talent,” Xavi told the media after the 1-0 win against Cadiz.

“He works, presses and knows how to play out and inside,” the Barca boss also said.

That’s some special praise for the loanee. Back in December, Xavi couldn’t say the same about the Portuguese who clearly didn’t do enough in his role.

Joao Felix has netted three goals in his last eight appearances for the Catalans, mostly as an impact sub.
