👋Good day Culers! We're on the horizon of yet another big Champions League knockout game with Barca hosting PSG at the Olympic Stadium in the second leg of the quarter-final.
The first leg went better than most pessimists and realists (myself included) expected as Barcelona found a way to beat PSG 3-2 in their backyard. It puts the Blaugrana in a position of strength with the tie at their mercy.
PSG have no choice but to go all out against Barca to close the deficit but that could be their biggest undoing as they would leave gaps for Barca to exploit.
The Parisians already showed defensive frailty by conceding three at home in the first leg. That shaky defence will probably be shaken to its very foundation at the Montjuic with Raphinha, Joao Felix and Lamine Yamal hungry to impress and Robert Lewandowski desperate to score for the first time in three successive games.
Barca's defence have also shown how good they can be in clutch moments. It's why Barca are on a 13-game winning streak in all competitions.
Thus, PSG are more than likely to bow out at the hands of a united Barca side.
