Barcelona have received a 10-year sponsorship offer from Nike to continue producing and marketing their jerseys, Mundo Deportivo say.
Barca and Nike have not been seeing eye to eye recently with the Blaugrana receiving a mouth-watering offer from Puma to leave Nike.
But Nike are not ready to lose Barca and have improved their offer to continue as their kit producer. Interestingly, Nike's new offer could solve Barca's Financial Fair Play problems if they decide to accept it.
It is said that Nike sent representatives to Barcelona to submit the deal to Barca.
It must be noted that Barca have a running contract with Nike until 2028 but multiple sources say Barca wants to break it off due to some unfavourable hidden clauses in the deal.
According to Diario Sport, Barca went to court to find out if it was possible to break their engagement with Nike. The answer they received was negative. Thus, Barca must honour their contract with Nike until 2028.
The new offer from Nike comes with financial improvements to the existing one which makes it ever so tempting for Barca. The question is whether Barca will accept or reject it.
