'It won't help': Hakimi plays down impact of Barca fans in PSG clash

PSG defender Achraf Hakimi doesn't believe the fans at Barca's temporary home stadium will be decisive in the outcome of their quarter-final later on Tuesday night.

"Barcelona fans at Montjuic? It's not the fans that play on the pitch. It's an 11 vs 11 match. This won't help or change the match," Hakimi said in his press conference in Barcelona.

Perhaps Hakimi thinks this way after Barca went away to beat PSG 3-2 in Paris. Roars and screams from the PSG fans had minimal to zero effect on the final scoreline.

Sources in France say PSG believe that playing away from Camp Nou gives them a slight advantage coming into the game as the Olympic stadium is barely half the size of Camp Nou.
