'Not completely dead': PSG enthusiast rates chances of possible Remontada against Barca

Popular PSG enthusiast and journalist Daniel Riolo believes it will take nothing short of a miracle for his side to perform a Remontada and beat Barcelona away from home.

"PSG should have sealed the tie against Barca in the first leg. It's not completely dead. But you lose in the first leg with three goals and you still play against Barca away," Riolo tells RMC Sport.

"We are talking about a very good [Barca] team, who can field Gundogan, [Frenkie] De Jong and Pedri, all better midfielders than PSG's.

"PSG have very few references away from home in the Champions League. Since 2013, away, there have been barely a handful of games that everyone remembers.

"We have to see something that we haven't seen in Paris for a long time. In the beginning, I imagined the progression of this team, and today, I haven't seen a big improvement in their game.

"If we hadn't gotten lost in experiments [by Enrique], I think PSG would be in a better position against Barca. PSG does not start in a favourable position. It's 70-30%," he said.

Riolo's sentiments are echoed loudly in France. Sources say many people in Paris have ceded the tie to Barca after their team lost the first leg 3-2.

A poll conducted by French outlet Le Figaro shows that 70% of Parisians trust Barca to finish the job and knock out PSG on Tuesday.
